Hi Mrs.Massey, 

I used to make these slippers way back in the 1960's so i will try  to write it down from memory so let me know if works out ok 

cast on 23 sts for small  size 
ROW 1:  K 7 P 1 K7 P1 K7
ROW 2:  KNIT ACROSS ROW
DO ROWS 1 AND 2 FOR 22 RIDGES
THEN K 1 P 1 ACROSS FOR 3 INCHES
BIND OFF  AND SEW  UP

FOR MED AND LARGE SIZE CAST ON 29 STS AND DO K9 P1 K9 P1 K9 INSTEAD OF K7P1K7P1K7

   i used rug yarn so they weren't slippery on bare floors  hope this is the pattern you were looking for  Regards Anne
